Solidarity for the smallest and weakest among us
The focus of the Haitz Stair Run was on the little fighters in the Gelnhausen Children's Hospital, our premature babies. Their nutrition is the foundation for a healthy life. But not every mother is able to breastfeed her prematurely born child immediately. These children are therefore dependent on donor milk - a precious commodity that is associated with high costs due to regular and costly examinations of the donors.
With every step that our brave employees climbed the 900-metre course with 207 steps, the “ladder to heaven”, they supported the women's milk project of the Gelnhausen children's clinic. All donations from the run were donated in full to the Barbarossakinder Pro Kinderklinik e. V. association.
It was not only a pleasure, but a matter close to our hearts to contribute to this incredibly important project. Events like this are an impressive demonstration of what solidarity and a willingness to help can achieve in our world.
Only together can we overcome stormy times
Another year full of crises and uncertainty is drawing to a close. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you very much for the great cooperation in this turbulent year 2023. As in previous years, this will remain a lasting memory. Once again, we have had to experience and master new upheavals and sometimes far-reaching changes this year.
We have managed all of this, not least with solidarity and mutual support. In logistics, we were able to keep the gears of the global economy running together despite the adverse circumstances. However, it is not just us, but also the socially disadvantaged who must be able to cope with the ongoing and upcoming challenges.
Voluntary and honorary service is a key and essential part of our society, without which it would not function. We have a duty to support them and bring them closer together. For this reason, like many others, we will not be giving away any promotional items this year and will be donating the budget earmarked for this purpose.
Our donations will go to various organizations that play an important role in our community and beyond:

- Barbarossakinder e.V.
- Hospiz St. Elisabeth Kinzigtal in Gelnhausen
- Förderverein Gelnhäuser Kindergärten e.V.
- Gelnhäuser Tafel e.V.
In the words of Willy Brandt: “Peace is not everything, but without peace everything is nothing.” We would like to close the year 2023 and look to the future with hope.
